Floral forward, lavender, plum, prune, expressive acidity presentation!
If you enjoyed Picolot #000 this release will be perfect for you! This coffee is fruity and expressive with tons of intensity and loud notes. We find this coffee has a floral forward presentation, dynamic acidity, with a really long and sweet finish. When cooled, the acidity becomes significantly more structured with a tart plum note and the acidity is sparkly. The linger is long, sweet, and clean making this a great example of a well processed expressive natural gesha!
BQ Notes: Treat this one like Pico #000. Tastes like a loud Natural Panama Gesha + Sprite (lol) AKA Mountain Dew at home. Just pour water on it to get good results!

From Altieri: The coffee was harvested April 10th, 2025. It was then transported to our facilities in Alto Lino the next morning, where it underwent flotation to separate low-density cherries. Then the cherries are placed in grain pro bags and these are submerged in cold water from the river for 5 days to complete the fermentation process.. The coffee then underwent a drying stage in the drying room at a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius and 50% humidity for 30 days.
Roasting/Resting details:
Roasted on a Stronghold S7X by Jiyoon! We aim for a transparent presentation of the coffee and would love to hear any feedback on the roasts. We recommend you rest for at least 2-3 weeks before brewing.
Extra Deets:
ALESSA is a small plot located in the MIMA ESTATE farm in Alto Quiel at the foothills of the Baru Volcano, at an altitude of 1980 meters above sea level. It covers an area of approximately 0.5 hectares of volcanic soil where Geisha Green Tip grows. During the rainy season, the daytime temperature is around 16 degrees Celsius, and it drops to 10 degrees Celsius at night. This plot is managed in the wild forest, in 2025 we only had 360 productive coffee trees.
